How much is the emergency call-out?

Our call-out is £80, the same day or night. We don't inflate the call-out fee for out-of-hours emergencies. The repair itself is priced separately and quoted before we start.
How fast can you respond?

As fast as travel from Liverpool allows for the time of day. Genuine emergencies (burning smell, exposed conductors, commercial downtime) are prioritised over less urgent calls.
Is the 24/7 line answered by an electrician or a call centre?

By an electrician. The person you speak to is the person coming out, or the person coordinating who is.
What should I do while waiting for you?

If you can safely reach your consumer unit, switch off the main isolator. Do NOT touch any exposed conductors or damaged fittings. If you smell burning, isolate that circuit at the board if you can identify it, otherwise switch off the main.
Will you fix it the same visit?

Wherever safely possible, yes. Some repairs need specific parts we don't carry in the van, in which case we make safe, quote the fix, and return with the parts at the earliest agreed time.
Do you cover commercial emergencies out of hours?

Yes, retail, hospitality and light industrial downtime is prioritised on the same 24/7 line.
Do I still get a certificate for emergency work?

Yes, Minor Works Certificate for any emergency repair, with post-repair testing recorded.
Do you cover outside Liverpool?

Yes, Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West on the same 24/7 line. Response time varies with distance.
